A Whole New World
It has been a while and there were a lot of life changing events that happened in my life since my last post. Most were over-the-top happy and one very devastating one.
People passing through my blog see that I am a "Grannie". Being at this stage in my life and being away from home for years, I still found it hard losing THE one man I loved so fiercely. Papa.
How can you wrap your head around the fact that someone is gone forever? The person who coined the phrase "gut wrenching" must have felt the way I did. I still tear-up EVERY TIME I think about Papa. So I stop here.
Months after the loss, the universe gifted us with a very beautiful angel. Cara Vivienne. Soft as silk, pink as a lily, pretty as pretty can be. Oh if there was an ultimate vengeance for the loss of a loved one, having Cara is it!
And then another happy event that shook my world - Monica got engaged! Something I have been praying for for years. Really every mother's wish for her daughter. Now I smile thinking about a post I wrote almost 10 years ago about her inventing the anti-falling-in-love pill!
I am good now. My life is not CRAZY good. But I have enough good to love MY LIFE!
